Cantinas with Cassidy

When Cassian enters, he's changed into a shirt that maybe once was red and a suit jacket that's casual and like the other one, once belonged to a larger man.

It helps to sell the character if his clothes show someone trying to improve and get farther from the Outer Rim.

He looks around for Cassidy as they want to use as much of the night as they can.

Cassidy watches her move to the other end of the bar.

"Well, she seems nice," he says a little wryly, aside from threatening to expose them as lying liars, but okay. He does appreciate the open bottle, though.

"Nicer than she could have been, she likes your face. Not bored?"

He doesn't know what Cassidy was expecting from this trip, so far its helping with his work.

"She likes your face, too," he says with a smirk as he refills both their glasses.

"Bored? Fuck no, mate, havin' a blast." He can't remember having to bullshit this much in one go in quite a while.

"Still gotta deliver the goods or Enla won't think very highly of either of us."

Cassian shrugs, he doesn't have time to think about flings, everyone wants something and he's not the kind for relationships.

When Cassidy refills his glass, he takes a sip and keeps his voice low, "Good, didn't know if you would. I have those extras, won't be able to get them to her tonight but tomorrow. I don't want her to think too highly of me, then she'll ask questions."

Now he just wants to get Cassian laid. It's what any friend would do.

"She's a tough one, I'll give 'er that," he chuckles low into his glass.

"What's up with Fish Guy and Lizard Neck over there?"

There's a bellow as Cassian turns, "Maybe the owner owes him money."

From that corner there's a yell as the Karkarodon owner shouts, "No, you can't run your game here. You bring the place down!"

"This is my planet, you water breather!"

Then there's a push and with the two of them fighting, everything's loud. A chair flies through the air hitting a tall Pyke who picks up the chair pieces and hits the first person in his way.

Cassian sips his drink though he's tensed up, "With the way its going, we should be safe until they hit the stage. The owner won't want any bottles broken."

"Holy shite!" he chortles as the fists and furniture go flying. He's tensed up, too, ready to follow Cassian's lead, but the fight is still pretty damn entertaining. "Wouldn't wanna get caught up with those behemoths."

"No, no one wants to be," More furniture starts to get broken as other patrons join in the fight bringing it their way and Cassian finishes his drink before considering where they are. When a Ithorian arguing with one of the dancers passes them, Cassian turns and with quick precision takes down the Ithorian who the dancer then stomps on and nods at them.

By this time the fight is around them while fists and broken glass and wood are flying. From two sides there are fists flying and Cassian looks over to Cassidy to see how he's going to do in this kind of brawl.

Cassidy blinks. He...did not expect Cassian to do that, but okay.

"Well, alright then," he chirps, giving the dancer a thumbs up.

He grabs the bottle of All or Nothing and tucks it into his jacket for safe keeping.

"Should we get out of here? Where's Enla? And the bartender, is she okay?"

As much as Cassidy likes a brawl, he won't jump in unless he has a good reason to.

The dancer was the one who was with Enla and waves them towards a back door. Cassian smiles and follows her, the bartender is also near the back, hurrying people out.

When they pass her, Cassian presses some credits into her hand, "For the drink and I'll see what I can do."

Sinya nods as she says, "Get going, turn left at the alley and come back another time!"

Through the noise of the fight, stomps can be heard as a patrol arrives. Enla's back can be seen somewhere ahead of them.

Cassidy is following Cassian through the melee when someone knocks into Cassidy from behind and makes him stumble.

The bottle almost slips from his jacket, but he manages to keep a hold on it. However, making a man nearly spill some valuable liquor is a grievous offense.

Cassidy whirls around and finds himself staring into a drunken, snarling, duck-faced Gungan.

"Jaysus, you're an ugly muppet."

He grabs one of its ears and flings him face first into the nearest wall, breaking his snout and knocking him out.

That was for Episode I.

Cassidy hurries toward the back door where he sees Sinya waving people out. He pauses just long enough to give her a peck on the cheek.

"See ya, luv!" he calls back as he dashes after Cassian.

Cassian hears Cassidy's shout and turns to watch him take down the Gungan and says, "Kriff."

Once Cassidy's caught up with him, he turns them down a few alleys as the lights of ships pass overhead.

From the cantina's back door, processed voices can be heard saying, "Stop all fighting and come with us!"

One more turn takes them to a closed shopfront and Cassian stops, slowing his breathing to ask Cassidy, "Not hurt?"

Cassidy sticks close, eyes and ears peeled for anyone following them.

By the time they reach the shop, Cassidy is all grins.

"Pfft, nah!" he says, and he opens his jacket. "I saved the bottle."

"Oh good,"

He laughs in relief and leans on the shopfront while watching for surveillance and patrols.

Cassidy leans back as well, hands in his pockets, casual as anything.

"Well, that was an interesting turn of events. Suffice to say I was not disappointed."

"Glad to meet your expectations. We probably should head back,"

He's curious and worried about what Cassidy was hoping to find.

Sex and drugs, but Cassidy understands that Cassian isn't the type to indulge. Like, those Twi'leks were hot.

"Sure," he says agreeably. "I owe you for the liquor."

"Maybe another time there won't be as much work. Though you were good with the drug line, something you've done before?" Cassian starts walking back towards the respectable part of town then stops as an Ithorian who's not completely steady and has a spicy smell around him gets in their way, "Got any spice?"

With a sigh, Cassian says, "No, go sleep it off."

"Gotta cut loose some time, mate, but I can see how it's hard to have fun with all those 'troopers hanging about," he says as he walks alongside Cassian.

"Let's just say I wasn't lying when I said pharmaceuticals are my specialty."

As they pass the hammer-headed fella, Cassidy sniffs and twitches his nose.

"What's spice? You mentioned it back when we were talking to Enla."

"Drug of choice in the galaxy. I do some when its safe."

Milliways is allowing a little more space to relax but he never searches out ways to lose control. He stops, raising his hand in front of Cassidy as 'trooper boots pass by.

"Oh, that's how you knew which drugs?"

That was a total soccer mom gesture.

"You do?" he says once the stormtroopers go by. "Dude! You've been holdin' out on me, mate. You need to pass me some of that as soon as you can, I swear I'll pay you back for your troubles if it's hard to get. And yeah, I'm quite thoroughly familiar with Earth drugs, both legal and illegal."

Cassian stares at Cassidy and shakes his head as he goes over what he said. Basic's not his first language and he doesn't want to have to deal with 'troopers tonight,

"Kriff no, not spice, cut loose or whatever you said. Spice takes away too much control, but if you really want to try some we're in the neighborhood for it."

"...Oh," he half-laughs, when he realizes Cassian hadn't meant it like that.

"Well, look, I don't wanna get you in trouble if the situation's too shady for you. Trust me, I understand. But, y'know, since we're in the neighborhood an' all, where would I, theoretically, go to find some?"

He looks around the area they're in, they're not far from the cantinas, not yet back in the respectable area. Ord Mantell City has a lot of circles in it which makes it possible to move easily between areas,

Then he gives a tired laugh, getting caught with spice is far less risky than spying on the Empire, "Cassidy, you know what I really do. This way."

"Hah! Oh, you are a wonderful bastard," he guffaws, hugging Cassian with one arm around his shoulders as he follows.

"Is the stuff expensive? And by the name I'm guessing it's a powder?"
