At one point Cassian stifles a scream in his sleep and curls up on himself trying to be warmer and safer.

Kay carrying a tray is hard to miss and the message was passed to Draven who waits almost two hours before sending someone. When there's a knock, Cassian wakes up, blinking at Kay, the tray and the noise.
