Convention with Yamato II

A nice benefit of this hotel is they will bring caf up to their room in the morning along with breakfast to give them some privacy in the mornings.

Cassian has pulled up the itinerary of the day, "Part of our entry allows access to the hangar with the ships and that's up for today. So you can properly look into the engines."

"Here," Yamato says, holding the blue handled spanner up to him. "How's it going up there?"

"Pretty well though I don't understand all of their choices in this engine."

He grabs the spanner and gets back in which makes the engine seem to growl at him as it rattles.

"Should I be worried about that? Because it's increasingly sounding like the people who built this thing didn't do a very good job."

"Hm?" Cassian can't answer as he's holding a wire in his mouth before finding a way to turn something just that way and then looks down.

"No, they did do a good job, but this is an engine built from some of the best parts more to say its from the best parts. You'll like how it ends up flying for you."

"One of those kinds of engines, huh," Yamato says, shaking his head. "Well, so long as it flies well enough for what we need, I'm fine with it."

"It will, I'll make it fly better than it normally does."

Cassian's enjoying himself, he so rarely gets to work on a ship that's basically working at its best.

"I'm counting on you," Yamato remarks, picking up some of the tools and looking them over.

Cassian's smile fades at that as he nods and then heads back into the engine.

The toolbox is a fairly new one that actually has some labels still naming the tools.
