Convention with Barry and Cisco

Cassian's at the counter in his informal Willix outfit which resembles a simple blue suit that's more formal that what he normally wears.

He left a note for them about a chance to go see a lot of ships at the convention. Today's a good day for them to visit as its the busiest of the convention with the most tourists.

The front door opens and Cisco and Barry walk through. Barry is dressed in blue jeans, a flannel button down and a light jacket with a hood.

Cisco meanwhile has on a pair of cargo pants, a coat of many pockets and he's wearing a large backpack.

"Do you really need the go-bag for this?" Barry asks Cisco as the duo head for the counter.

"Are we going on another adventure in a different world? Answer, 'yes', which means I totally need the go-bag," Cisco replies.

He smiles when he spots Cassian and gives the man a nod.

"Hey dude, what's up? Looking sharp," Cisco says, giving the man a finger-gun point.

"Thank you, but you both might need some touches to your outfits to make you fit in better."

They look comfortable and they won't stand out too much but they could blend in better.

Barry looks down at his clothes and asks, "Yeah? What should we wear?"

Barry's never really been to an auto show on his world, let alone one in a galaxy far, far away (although, he has been to a sci-fi convention or two, but that's definitely a totally different thing).

"Do I need a vest? I can get a vest," Cisco says quickly.

Han Solo wore a vest.

"Trade out your coat for one from my world with the same amount of pockets. Barry, I think another jacket and that should do it. Bar, could I have a few pieces of clothing from my galaxy for Barry and Cisco?"

A few items appear on the counter for them.

"Sure thing," Cisco says, shedding his backpack grabbing the jacket that appears for him.

Taking off his own coat he puts the new one on and then begins going through all of the pockets on the old, transferring all of the many items into the pockets of the new.

Barry shrugs on his new jacket while watching Cisco, giving a small sigh and informing Cassian, "This could take awhile."

Not a one of Cisco's pockets seem empty.

Cassian smiles as he watches, noting all the various supplies, "Go bag and go jacket?"

"Exactly," Cisco says proudly. "See, Cass gets it."

Everything is tucking away pretty easily, but when Cisco gets to the big handful of Twizzlers he had in one pocket he gets a little stuck.

[run_barry]

"I get it, I just don't think it's necessary," Barry replies, rolling his eyes.

"Would you believe this is the trimmed down version?" he says to Cassian. "You should've seen the stuff he took for our trip to the Digital World."

"I approve of being prepared. I try to be more subtle about it. What kind of supplies?"

Digital World seems like it would be hard to anticipate what you need.

"See, he approves," Cisco points out to Barry, willfully ignoring that part about being more subtle.

Finally Cisco has everything into his new coat and he hefts the backpack he's carrying.

"Oh, necessities and emergency supplies," Cisco answers. "Some scientific equipment, first aid kit, clean socks, a poncho, bus fare, a wilderness survival guide, a zombie survival guide, matches, GPS, Twizzlers... " There is more, so much more that he continues to list.

"Still think he needs all that?" Barry deadpans to Cassian while Cisco goes on.

"Not all of it. How will bus fare help you in my galaxy?"

That's the one that stands out for its oddness to Cassian.

[makes_the_toys]

"Why? Do you guys have Uber?" Cisco asks, straight-facing the question and making it sound perfectly reasonable.

With everything secure he gives a thumbs-up.

"Alright, I'm good to go."

Barry throws Cassian a look which asks, 'That's the item you have questions about?'.

Shaking his head to dismiss anymore attempts to understand or reason with Cisco on this, Barry straightens his new jacket and gives Cassian a nod.

"I guess we're ready."

"We're not going anywhere that we can't walk or take a speeder if we need to."

It was the one that jumped out as the others seemed to be about being prepared.

[run_barry]

"You mean 'take' as in you have a speeder for us to use, right? Not as in... " steal, is what Barry is getting at, but it feels awkward to say.

[makes_the_toys]

"On the one hand I am shocked, shocked at the idea that we'd engage in speeder banditry," Cisco says. "On the other, I would love to call myself a space pirate, so... "

He's not an automatic out if speeder-jacking becomes necessary, is all he's saying!

Cassian shrugs as it depends on what's around, he's not going to steal a speeder using his Willix cover,

"They can be rented."

He smiles at Cisco's enthusiasm, "Taking a speeder wouldn't be enough to be a space pirate, you'd have to hijack a ship."

[run_barry]

"Just asking," Barry replies to Cassian.

"No," he says firmly to Cisco before the guy can get any ideas about the whole ship pirating thing.

[makes_the_toys]

"Fiiiiiine," Cisco sighs, so very put upon to have his space pirate dreams quashed.

"Well let's go then. If I can't steal a spaceship I at least one to go look at them."

"A lot of them. My cover's name is Willix but that shouldn't come up too much."

Cassian leads them to the door which opens onto a hallway in the large convention center. One of those places that's not completely anywhere.

"Will-X, got it," Cisco says with a nod and fingergun point at Cassian as he follows.
