Convention with Barry and Cisco

Cassian's at the counter in his informal Willix outfit which resembles a simple blue suit that's more formal that what he normally wears.

He left a note for them about a chance to go see a lot of ships at the convention. Today's a good day for them to visit as its the busiest of the convention with the most tourists.

"Sweet," Cisco says, following close behind the salesman. "It's always hard getting all the details right, but I'm sure you do a good job with this one."

"Yes and I know you're not pilots so enjoy the experience."

This isn't a test, its meant to be something fun.

"I'll put it on a setting where you don't have to do as much," The salesman says.

Barry just really doesn't want to blow Cassian's cover here, but if he's not worried about it than Barry won't worry, either.

"Alright. Cool," he says, reluctance giving way to excitement.

"Bring it on." Cisco grins, more than ready for the challenge.

The salesman offers Cisco the sim first which is set up for a racing run that goes up into the atmosphere and back down.

"Have fun." Cassian says and moves to stand beside Barry.

Cisco hops in, gleefully settling in and ready to take flight.

"All of my years of training, my destiny is now... " he says with awe, reveling in the moment.

"I think he might actually die of excitement," Barry notes to Cassian, watching Cisco with a grin.

"Then he'd miss his chance."

Cassian says as the sim gets started up.

The sim is set so that Cisco has to do some controlling but not adjust everything.

Barry laughs at Cassian, watching as things get started for Cisco.

Cisco seizes the controls and takes off with a whoop.

He may have never flown an actual space craft before, but all the hours logged on video games do see to be helping him through this.

The course is for showing off the ship so there's nothing that dangerous but some fun curves and a few obstacles.

The salesperson smiles at hearing that whoop, its always good to have happy engineers.

"Damn Cisco, you're actually doing pretty good," Barry comments, impressed.

While Cisco takes the curves and moves around obstacles Barry's head cants in the direction the ship is flying.

"Just call me 'Ace' Cisco declares, swooping around an obstacle. "Couple more sessions in one of these I'd so be ready for the real thing."

The salesperson heads off to help someone else and Cassian says,

"Want to do a higher difficulty next time? Do you want a turn?" He asks Barry.

"Totally," Cisco says. "I got this."

[run_barry]

"Yeah, I guess I can give it a shot," Barry says with a quick nod, eager now to try it out.

"Barry, why don't you go next and then I can put it up to a higher difficulty for Cisco after."

He says as he checks that they have the space pretty much to themselves.

"Alright, cool," Barry says.

"Hop up," he says to Cisco, nudging him so that they can switch places.

Cisco gives his spot to Barry and asks Cassian, "So is there a high-score on this thing or anything?"

"Not on this one but the ones at the cantina we go to together does,"

He's seen them on the Milliways' sims and doublechecks the sim.

"Well then, I guess that makes you the judge on who's the better pilot here," Cisco declares, putting a hand on Cassian's shoulder and giving it a shake.

[run_barry]

"Dude, you don't have to do that," Barry says to Cassian as he settles in and gets ready for the sim to start.

"Unless you think it's me, then you can totally say I'm the better pilot."

Cassian laughs at them, "The sim's better for judging than me."

"It's me, right? You just don't want to hurt Barry's feelings," Cisco says, leaning over and confiding in Cassian at a volume that's totally easy for Barry to overhear.

[run_barry]

Barry rolls his yes and shakes his head.

"Alright, don't distract me now, I'm going to do this thing," Barry says as the simulation begins.
