Hangar with Cisco, Barry and Yamato
The hangar's not too far from the main exhibit hall, a walk through busy streets to an imposing building. Inside they walk by many of the real ships that only had models in the exhibit hall and towards a section that's near one of the corner. The ship is gleaming and shining where it waits.

"I did some reroutes and bypass work to get you both more speed and fuel efficiency. I also tweaked the handling some so you should have more responsiveness."

Flying straight down 'really fast' just doesn't sound... safe.
"What other challenges are there on the course?"
no subject
Okay, this might be the awkward part. Trolling is fun and all, but Yamato doesn't actually want Barry to have a heart attack.
"There's an industrial area with obstacles, too, and a narrow system of caves, along with a few sections that are open and don't have any challenges. It's a three lap course, so I'll go through all the challenges three times," he says, then turns a little towards Cassian. "Did I get any of that wrong, or am I missing anything?"

"Yamato's going to be fine. He's probably done this at least once."

Putting on a smile, Barry nods, looking at the race course when Cassian puts up the holoprojection.
"Well that all sounds... exciting."
no subject
Not that he's going to say that. Instead, he needs to say something reassuring, right? He's got this, it's fine, he can definitely do reassu -- ...
"Hey, if I die, you can have my stuff. Win-win, right?"
Nailed it.

"I mean like, for real, the last time was just a fluke, right?" Barry shouldn't expect a crash to happen every time they come to a race, right?

Cassian's going to just ignore Cisco and Yamato. And its mainly the truth, that crash was dramatic and unusual.

He pats the side of the ship in emphasis.

The inane argument makes it a little easier to listen to Cassian over Cisco and Yamato, but Cisco's comment does turn Barry's head.
"You are?"
no subject
He remembers as much from when he taught Cisco to play that song for calming GP down.
"You can have my guitar. Cassian can get my digivice so that he can keep it safe from you. Barry gets everything else."
Compromise!
no subject
He wants the details before he has Yamato fly in the ship.

Willfully ignoring Cassian's suggest, Cisco holds out the datapad to Yamato.
"Here, give this to whatshisface," Cisco says, gesturing towards Cassian.
On display are the reconfigurations he did and bypasses he installed to get more speed and maneuverability out of the craft.

He's still nervous, but really he knows he has to trust his friends.

He takes the datapad, giving it a read himself and taking it all in before hopping down the ladder and handing it off to Cassian, with a 'looks fine to me, but you're the expert here' shrug.
"What, my stuff isn't good enough for you? That's rough," he says to Barry. He adds to Cassian: "I can't believe Barry doesn't want my stuff, you know how many cool vintage jazz LPs I have?"
no subject
"Your stuff is good enough for whoever wants it."
no subject
He then uses the screwdriver to close the console back up, making sure everything is back in place where it should be.

Barry gestures at Cisco and Cassian, giving a laugh.

"Hey," he says to Barry. "You'd be lucky to get Gabumon and Takeru. They're great, anyone would be thrilled to have them."
