The stands are a mixture of good quality and finding seats where you can. Thanks to the help of Pan, Cassian was able to get Barry, Cisco and Gabe seats with a good view of what's visible of the track and then the screens showing the other sections.

Cassian's down with the ships with Yamato, Pan came by to help them but is now up in the stands.

There is a small bit of panic on Cisco's words, and then Barry throws the man an unappreciative look for the scare.

It's gone quick though, and Barry turns his focus back to Gabriel.

"Spaceships are cool," Barry agrees. "We don't have any ships, but we totally have our own satellite."

Which is awesome.

"Damn," Gabriel says appreciatively.

He glances over the crowd, in the habit of keeping an eye on his surroundings, before turning to Cisco.

"Did you help build it?"

"Of course," Cisco brags, holding the small ship back out to Gabriel. "That puppy has my tech and signature all over it."

"It's a great tool for us to have with the... y'know, Flash thing," Barry adds in, cutting his hand through the air as a speed gesture.

Sure they're in a whole other universe right now, but saying out loud that he's a superhero crime fighter might still draw attention.

Which, judging by the caution from Cassian, Yamato and now Gabriel, seems like something they should avoid.

"Does you guys have any kind of space program?" he asks, curious. Given the robots it would seem they have the tech for it, but then, with the robots their entire focus could understandably be elsewhere.

Gabe takes the ship with a nodded thanks, carefully tucking it away.

"There's a colony on the moon, couple forays out to Mars, but that's all private companies." He lets his face take on obvious bewilderment. "The Bastion in the bar says the moon guys are messing around with GMO gorillas."

No, he has no idea why.

The crowds roar as the ships start lining up in front of the stands.

"Oh shit, here we go boys." Gabriel grins with eager glee as the ships start lining up. He scans the contenders and puts his fingers to his lips, letting out a shrill whistle as he spots Yamato's craft.

Cisco stands on his seat to get a view over the rising crowd, cupping his hands over his mouth and shouting.

"YEAAAAAAAAAAH! MASTER ILO!!!!"

Barry stands up for the start, looking over the ships with excitement.

Giving his own loud whistle, he pumps an arm in the air and cheers, "WHOOO!"

Turning to Gabriel he says, "This is the second time we've been through Cassian's door, but it's still hard to believe we're here."

And it will never stop being awesome.

Gabriel lets out a few more shrill whistles as Yamato takes the 16th position. Makes sense if he was the last to sign up but it certainly ups the challenge for him.

"That's awesome, dude. What else you been out for?"

"Why's he gonna start in the back?" Cisco demands, then shouts, "HEY! MOVE UP!"

"Dude relax," Barry chides Cisco, "I'm sure there's some way they determined starting order."

Or Yamato has some kind of plan, either way it should be fine.

Answering Gabriel, he says, "Swoop races on Corsin. Those were pretty exciting, too."

Gabriel laughs. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised at you guys being into the fast stuff."

Speaking of, the loudspeakers blast their "Go!" and there's a roar of engines as they all hit their accelerators at once.

"GO ILO!"

"Yeah! Look at my boy go!" Cisco cheers, watching as Yamato improves his position up through the field.

"Wait until he gets some room to really run," Cisco says, nudging Gabriel. "With the mods I gave him he'll smoke the rest of these ships."

Barry shoots a grin at Gabriel, then cheers as the race begins.

He roots Yamato on as the race kicks off, but as it goes on Barry's definitely feeling some anxiety watching the close calls with other ships and obstacles.

"This is so crazy dangerous," Barry says under his breath as sparks fly from another close call, then finds himself cheering loudly when Yamato moves up another spot.

Gabriel whoops as they clear the first set of obstacles and Yamato passes yet another ship.

"He's got this," he tells Barry confidently, keeping any worry out of his own voice. "Cisco saw to that, right?" He gives the engineer a grin, then boos at the field as a shaky ship slips past Yamato somehow.

"Oh yeah, if he doesn't die he's totally going to win," Cisco says confidently.

"How 'bout you, Gabe? Would you get in one of those and race?"

Used to ignoring Cisco's brand of unassuring reassurance, Barry tries to ignore him and nods to Gabriel.

"Yeah, no. I know. He's totally got this."

No sooner does Barry say that then Yamato starts his steep dive towards the ground, getting closer and closer without any sign he's going to pull out of it.

"Oh, man... "

Gabe's grin turns a little dubious. "It's a little more intense than BMX but I could give it a shot."

Then he's holding his breath as Yamato dives, knowing the kid has to pull up and fearing he won't in time. "Yeah!" He shouts as the craft levels out, shooting forward past two other ships just before they enter the caves. "Fucking daredevil, Jesus."

"Sweet, dibs on being your mechanic," Cisco calls. "But hey, give me a little more than last minute's notice, alright?"

Cisco is literally on the edge of his seat watching the dive, then hollers, and loudly, when Yamato pulls off the stunt.

"YEAH, MAN! Fearless!"

"Holy cow," Barry breaths, but he can't help laughing as well because that was nuts.

He raises his voice with Cisco and Gabriel and pumps an arm in the air to cheer Yamato on.

The lighting in the caves is almost a strobe effect with the random flashes going off. Gabriel sucks in a breath through his teeth as sparks fly off Yamato's plating.

"That's a ruined paint job."

"OH!" Cisco gasps when he sees the sparks fly. "My ship!"

"Not really yours, dude," Barry notes, watching the screens over the race course.

When Yamato gets out of the cave and starts to pull away from the race Barry nods.

"Think he's taking a pit stop."

"I hope he doesn't lose too much time."

He taps a finger on rail, slow and steady, as Yamato drifts off the track.

"How much work you put into that?" He asks Cisco.
