On base with Kay
Cassian wants to be going on a mission again but that means getting all the pieces together.
As he's finding sleep hard to come by, he takes his datapad and goes to rest on Kay where he's recharging.
Soon he has projections of possible routes and options for a sabotage up and the plan's looking like something he can take to Draven and command for approval.

"I shall stay outside."

Now to get them in without any suspicion.

"Is that the cantina?"

As they get nearer the factory, Cassian keeps his head down, using his hair to hide him from any surveillance and holding a small disruptor if he can't avoid one.

hen slowly opens the door and gestures to Kay to come closer so they can go in together.

"Starting mission counter now. I shall let you know when we are running past time to the point where we fail and you will probably die," he informs Cassian.

As soon as he's in, Cassian moves through the halls to the back of the factory floor and starts setting the bombs. A cleaning droid trundles by them before continuing its rounds. Once they're all placed, Cassian checks that he hasn't missed anywhere and turns to leave.

When Cassian is finished Kay gives a nod. "We are two point one five minutes ahead of schedule."

Cassian glances up at Kay and says, "I knew it felt too easy."
An older labor droid appears in the corner, "Who are you?"
no subject
"We are-- we are K-2SO, and... this man." Kay makes a vague gesture at Cassian, then counters, "Who are you?"
no subject
The droid tilts its head, "I am B-TX9 and you are not allowed to be in here. I will inform my supervisor."

Cassian takes a step towards the droid, they can't risk a patrol being called in, he just needs to remember where the kill switch is on this model.
Its an old one that he's not familiar with, "There's no reason to do that."
no subject
"Yes, there is no reason to do that. We have... called Sergeant Vance already." That is very believable, right?

The droid lifts him up and tosses him down the corridor where he hits a wall, but he does have the comm link, "Kay, what's our timing?"
Standing up hurts as the droid threw him hard, but he can manage to stand as the droid turns to Kay.

"One minute, eighteen seconds on our window," he informs Cassian.
no subject
"You are not authorized to be here," The droid says but from how hard Kay pushed it, it can't move or do anything.
Cassian waits for Kay and leans on the wall, he should be able to walk just not fast.
no subject
"It could identify you later, if it survives the blast." However unlikely that might be, considering the charges that Cassian has rigged.
no subject
The detonators will be going off soon and they need to not be close to it.

The door out finally appears as the countdown goes in his head and he keeps going forward, not running as that would draw attention but quickly. As they pass an alley partly away from the factory, the explosions start, rocking the ground and Cassian holds onto Kay.
no subject
"You will require medical care," Kay notes, heading them in the direction of the parked ship.
