Convention with Gabe
Cassian's waiting at the counter for Gabe, today should be a good day for him to see the convention. And Gabe's eye for weapons will be useful for looking into the shadier deals that are happening and where Yamato's cover will stand out a little too much.
Cassian's dressed in his Willix cover of a neat blue suit.

The droid, a protocol droid approaches as the salesperson is talking to a serious and ornately dressed Munn who glances at them then ignores them. "How may I answer your questions about our new Starvette."
no subject
He forces his shoulders to relax as he glances over the screen. "I'm in the market for a personal craft," he says smoothly, raising one eyebrow. "Something nimble. Nothing flashy."
The look he gives the ship implies he's not impressed by it.
no subject
Cassian notes that tension and before the droid gets too far into its pitch says, "I think we'd like to look around on our own."
no subject
He rolls with it, though. "There's still quite a few ships to view." His tone takes a slight condescending turn. "Can't be dazzled by the first shiny coat of paint, after all."
no subject
Gabe hasn't ruined anything, Cassian didn't know how he would react to the various droids. Cassian moves toward a display that's next door with a ship that looks almost like a shark with sleek hidden weapons with a front console that can be walked into.
no subject
He likes the look of this ship, but would Master Ilo approve? He steps into the console area, appraising the available room. The hidden weapons might provide an opening for what they're really here for, though.
"I'm not certain this is big enough for Master Ilo's needs." He runs a hand along the edge of the console. "The armaments are a nice touch, however."
no subject
"There's space for sleeping quarter as every piece of the ship is used. If you look here you can see how it all connects. And we provide modifications including those for defense."
no subject
"Do tell me more."
It still seems a bit on the small side, but it seems worth adding to his 'list'.
no subject
The model is turned to show new options as Cassian takes notes especially of the weapon choices.

The Pantoran glances nervously at Gabe, who's glare is impressive. Off to the side, Cassian gives a little smile to them to try and be reassuring.
no subject
"But those would be after market modifications? Not anything you supply yourself?"
no subject
Ones that can't always be spoken about easily.
no subject
"That sounds promising," he allows, "but I would want to research that further before committing to your vessel. Suppose the things I'm interested in weren't compatible with this ship?"
That just wouldn't do at all.
no subject
Cassian steps over as quietly as he can, "Perhaps we should look around more before ruling anyone out."
no subject
He's not making any promises but surely the fellow is used to people comparison shopping?
no subject
A datacard of details is handed over with a smile and a free mini ship model.
Cassian takes them with an answering nod.
no subject
He gives the salesman a reserved smile. "My thanks. I'm sure we'll stop back by later." He turns to go with barely a glance at Cassian.
no subject
"Interested in a ship that can stand up to the unknown dangers of the Outer Rim and beyond?"
no subject
"Potentially," he allows. "Depending on their capabilities."
These don't exactly fall under 'discrete'.
no subject
A projection of a ship bristling with protections is pulled up to hover in front of Gabe.
no subject
He feigns moderate interest. "Do you have an options list? Package deals?"
no subject
Now the projection has an overlay of various options including deals.
no subject
He makes a thoughtful sound, leaning slightly towards Cassian. "I'm uncertain anything here would suit your Master's tastes, Willix," he says doubtfully. Addressing the salesperson again, "Powerful capabilities is one thing, but discreetness is another. Perhaps I've missed it in your list, but do you have anything that fulfills both?"
no subject
Cassian agrees with a serious nod as the salesperson looks worried because discrete isn't what their ships are known for.
